Answer

What Is TTIC's Role in Healthcare AI Governance?

The Trustworthy Technology & Innovation Consortium (TTIC) is a private consortium of practitioners who write the standards, publish the research, and hold the governance roles that define trustworthy AI in healthcare. It was co-founded by Sherri Douville and Mitch Parker around a practical systems problem: trustworthy technology cannot be built by any one profession.

Why It Matters

Not as commentators, but as architects

Most organizations either write about AI governance or practice it. TTIC's premise is that the two have to be the same organization: the people setting the requirement are also the ones deploying to it, so the requirement stays connected to what actually happens in production.

How It Works

A cross-standard execution model

TTIC's cross-standard execution model integrates IEEE/UL 2933, the OWASP GenAI Security framework, NIST AI RMF, and ISO/IEC 42001. TTIC does not translate standards; it operationalizes them, through the five-stage chain from Standards to Accountability.

Evidence and Examples

The record

TTIC leadership co-chairs IEEE/UL 2933 and contributed to the authorship of ANSI/HSI 2800:2025. Medigram's Darwin is TTIC's reference implementation, independently verified at the highest recorded Praxen behavioral score to date. The full evidence table, with primary sources for every claim, is on the Standards and Adoption page.

TTIC's Role

Beyond compliance. Sealed at the decision.

“We write the standards. We build to them by example. … In this combination, we stand alone.”
