Standards leadership

  1. Vice Chair, IEEE/UL 2933The foundational engineering-layer framework for trustworthy AI in clinical IoT and connected health.
  2. Co-Founder, TTICCo-founded TTIC with Sherri Douville around a practical systems problem: trustworthy technology cannot be built by any one profession.
Domain

Where his work sits

Practicing health-system cybersecurity leadership: operational controls, measurement, and implementation authority. As CISO at Indiana University Health, he converts cybersecurity and technical strategy into operational metrics, driving the operational foundation that data and AI require for long-term success.

He helped drive the work at IU Health referenced by CHIME as a role model for third-party AI governance, the standard that anchors TTIC's framework. He pushes the leading edge of efficiency and productivity in cybersecurity and AI at the institution, regional, and industry level.

He is part of the core team, alongside Sherri Douville, that won the IEEE Standards Association Emerging Technology Award for co-authorship of IEEE/UL 2933:2024.

How his work connects to Sherri Douville's

His side of the co-founder pairing is practicing health-system cybersecurity leadership: operational controls, measurement, and implementation authority. Sherri Douville's side is governance architecture, standards integration, clinical-technical translation, ecosystem building, and institutional alignment. Together, governance architecture and institutional alignment connect directly to operational cybersecurity and health-system implementation.
