Standards and institutional adoption

The Trustworthy Technology & Innovation Consortium (TTIC) authors and contributes to governance standards, then works to close the gap between a standard being written and a standard becoming institutional practice. This page states what TTIC's role in each standard actually is, and links to the primary source for each claim.

Where the standards work stands today

Precise verbs, no inference. Where a claim could not be independently verified against its primary source, that is stated plainly rather than restated as fact.

Method

How this page is kept honest

Every relationship stated above is checked directly against a primary source at the linked institution, not restated from TTIC's own prior copy. Where a linked source could not be reached or did not itself state the claim, that is marked [EVIDENCE NEEDED] rather than asserted.

Read the fuller architecture behind this work on the About page, including the standards-to-institutional-practice chain and the disciplinary network TTIC convenes.
