The organizing question
What must be true before an institution can responsibly depend on consequential AI?
About TTIC

Trustworthy Technology & Innovation Consortium (TTIC) advances trustworthy healthcare AI by closing the gaps between medicine, engineering, cybersecurity, law, capital, and executive accountability. Its leaders co-author accredited standards, publish multidisciplinary reference works, and develop practical governance and diligence resources. By connecting clinical safety, technical evidence, and capital decisions, TTIC helps institutions determine what must be true before they can responsibly depend on AI, protecting patients, physicians, and institutional trust.

Why this bench

A governance-vetted roster spanning pro sports leadership, clinical and legal authority, capital, and compliance. Every speaker clears a credibility bar: a household-name organization, or an institutional capital seat.

Why This Bench in 2026:
The Economy

Healthcare does not need to step back from AI because adoption has not yet produced the ROI many expected. It needs to get better at deciding what deserves to move forward.

As interest rates remain elevated and Treasuries and bonds offer more attractive returns, the opportunity cost of speculative AI investment rises. Capital has grown more selective, and pilots have to justify not only their price, but their clinical value, implementation burden, risk, durability, and path to measurable return.

That is why this is the right bench for right now. We are bringing physicians, legal and compliance leaders, technologists, professional sports leadership, venture capital, and family-office capital into the same conversation.

The question is no longer simply, “Can we adopt AI?” It is: What must be true for an institution to responsibly depend on it, and for the investment to be worth making?

Healthcare should not retreat from AI. It should become much more disciplined about which AI earns the right to scale, whether that is for research, teaching, clinical care, or operations.
